I wasn't willing to "stick" any of them on my dashboard because I didn't want to ruin the surface with adhesive. The "vacuum" sealing ones didn't work either. I tried a different phone mount that attaches to the air conditioning vent, but it was rather large and got in the way of accessing other things I use. Plus, it wasn't sturdy, and my phone flopped around and wouldn't stay in place every time I turned or hit a bump.This one, however, is great. The magnetic hold is surprisingly strong and keeps my phone securely in place, even on bumpy roads or sharp turns. I love how easy it is to attach and remove my phone with one hand, which makes it much safer and more convenient while driving.It comes with magnets you can attach to your phone, but my phone cover already has a magnet (which I highly recommend) and it works perfectly with this phone mount.The air vent clip feels sturdy and doesn’t slip around, and the overall design is sleek without being bulky. It lines up perfectly with my phone and doesn’t interfere with normal use, such as navigation or calls. Setup took just a minute. “This car mount fits well. I have a 2006 Toyota which I’ve had trouble with other vent mounts. This one’s design suits my car better. The magnet is strong and holds securely. The gimbal lock tends to loosen up over time but most every mount I’ve ever had does the same so no big deal. This unit also came with add ons that allow you to adapt a phone case that is not MagSafe so that it will work with this mount, a nice touch. Definitely worth the money, so much so that I purchased a second one.”
