“This fits a 2012 MX-5 Miata. I thought it might, since the photo of this product uses a 2012-era Miata body. I'm not sure when Mazda went with the current body style (2016, I think).The windshield shade is nice and rigid. I have no trouble fitting it against the windshield and dropping down the two windshield visors to hold it in place. It unfolds abruptly, but that's probably needed to make it rigid.It is not too insulated. I don't know how much difference that makes in keeping temperatures down in a car. Mainly I want to keep the sun out, and it does a good job of that. I knocked off a star because, while reflective, it is more gray than shiny, so it absorbs comparatively more energy and warms up the car.”

It is two layers; silver outside and black inside, that provides much better insulation than the previous thin single layer shade. Because of the size and stiff wire frame, it is a bit cumbersome to open and place in the windshield within the front seat space. Likewise, it's also a bit cumbersome to remove and fold. I'll get used to it. A Velcro tab above the rearview mirror assures a complete closure.If Sun Shade advertises a shade to fit your vehicle, buy it. My wife would have liked the dachshund picture shade but it would not have been as effective as this one.”
