Fit is true to size, workwear-straight through the leg, not skinny but not baggy either. Fabric feels tougher than most casual pants, holds up to actual work and washes well without fading fast.Downsides: they're not breathable in hot weather, and the stretch is subtle — don't expect jogger-level flex. Also run slightly long, so hemming might be needed.Overall: solid budget workhorse pants, especially if you liked the original 874 but wanted a little more give. “I'm 5'10" and 185lbs. I usually wear a 33 waist and 30in inseam. These are not only small as heck but the sizing is so inconsistent. The 32x30 was so tight I couldn't get them on, and the other pair in the same size fit like a 36x34.I re-ordered and got the 34x30 and they fit perfectly. Soak em in a salt water bath for a day and run em through a wash cycle and the starchy stiffness breaks down perfectly and leaves the structure.”
