“This is the heaviest and cleanest distortion I've ever heard come out of a bass guitar pedal. It's crisp, clear, distorted, and brutal. It's so nasty it practically sounds like an electric guitar when you move up to the top strings. That being said, it never begins to sound like an electric guitar and always retains it's bass identity which is important because a bass needs to sound like a bass. Sometimes the wrong distortion can make a bass sound too tinny. Not this bass pedal though. Just don't go overboard with the distortion because then you'll run into too much feedback from your amp. Trust me, it'll still sound brutal even if you dial it back. However, it's really cool that the pedal gives you the option to go overboard if you want to considering all it's features.Overall, it's an absolutely goated pedal!”
“A great $80 bass pedal!More of an aggressive overdrive vs. a distortion unit.As far as a Darkglass Alpha Omicron Ultra clone, i'd say it gets you 75-80% there. Its abit muddy vs. articulate, and doesn't quite reach the clanky dangle dangle dangle Darkglass sound.”

I ALWAYS think it's hard to buy pedals because you really have to try them with your setup .This pedal has plenty of tonal ranges and has absolutely no buzz . You can go with a little distortion or crazy thrash/crust distortion.Has a great red light that frames the switch so it's easy to see on a dim stage.Worth every penny.”
