When the seeds fall from the feeder to the ground, the ground feeders clean it up. Everyone wins with this stuff!.. I have seen a variety of birds at the feeder, just like the bag says. The only woodpecker I have seen is the Norther Flicker, but only a couple of times. I get the scrub jays, various finches, various sparrows, spotted towhee, Oregon dark eyed junco, and a couple I have not identified yet. So it does attract a variety of birds, and squirrels. I call them my furry birds! The 10 pound bag lasts a week or so. I do add some chopped walnuts and almonds for the bigger birds and squirrels. The crows usually toss the seeds to the ground and grab 3 almonds in their beaks and fly away. Nothing has shells in my bird feeder. I have this on subscription since I use a lot of it. I think it is a good value for the money currently.”

Money could be maybe a little less expensive like you could get it at Walmart yet. I wonder if the product at Walmart would be as good as quality? The size is fine for me. It works. I don't put a lot out in the feeder because we get pop-up storms and then you end up with very wet food. So it does last me a while. And it brings in a variety of birds. And I'm happy camper. Now if I research every bird's requirements, what is their best suited food that you can have for them, this might not be the best food to get. Get. Like when I was researching squirrels. It was real acorns, real Hazel, nuts, Etc. To be as close as possible to what they get in, the wild. Bird food generally does not do that. So with that being said, I can't afford to get 20 different varieties because we have 20 different types of birds coming in of food. So I think it is a good product”
