“Finally, a Band-Aid that gets it right on all points. I've tried so many other versions over the years.(1) the pads go the full width of the Band-Aid! On so many past versions they leave a tiny 1/16" or so strip of adhesive plastic on the side to (box marketing) "seal the wound". No, it doesn't. 20 years of trying that on various Band-Aid models and the strip always comes un-stuck, with adhesive exposed, to pick up dirt faster than normal. Complete design failure. With these they give up on that nonsense and simply run the pad out to the edges. On one past model of Band-Aids the pad was like HALF the width of the Band-Aid! What?(2) The wrapper each Band-Aid is in peels open without a hassle. With so many other types over the years I had to give up and just rip the package open.(3) The adhesive is strong enough to stick, not only to (likely damp from washing my hands) skin, but to the Band-Aid itself if I wrap it around a finger or such. On some past Band-Aid models it has been soul-crushing to get the Band-Aid out of the wrapper (not easy), get it wrapped around my bleeding finger just right, only to have the Band-Aid not stick and immediately fall off. :((4) The flexible fabric flexes, but not too much. On at least one past Band-Aid model the fabric flexed/stretched so much it would not remain tight against the wound and, in fact, fell right off after a short period.(5) I can visually tell the difference in the 3 sizes in the box to select the right one. Want a challenge? Try that with the smallest two sizes in a Band-Aid "Skin Flex" type assortment.(6) There is an extra large size available, right here on Amazon! I've bought that too and it has all the same wonderful features. FINALLY a Band-Aid big enough for larger cuts, without being a 3"x3" gauze pad.The only issues where you might need a different type of Band-Aid are (1) waterproof - these are water-resistant but not waterproof, and (2) a much bigger or deeper wound: adhesive pads, surgical closures, or really a trip to the urgent care or ER.I also HIGHLY recommend good 'ol Bacitracin Zinc ointment over newfangled antibiotic stuff. “My goal is to avoid spending time cutting, altering, or arguing with a bandage that does not fit properly while I am dealing with something that is quite minor. The placement of these was simple, and the one-size format worked really well for most of the applications that I had. I was able to place them without much effort by using them on my fingers, the back of my hand, and next to a knuckle while I was wearing them. The size is not going to be ideal for every location, but it was helpful for accomplishing the regular requirements of a family.While I was typing, washing my hands, opening drawers, lugging shopping bags, and doing other routine tasks throughout the day, I also used one of my fingers. It moved with my hand more easily than other bandages that were more rigid that I had used in the past. When I bent my finger, it did not tug every time I did so, but I was still aware that it was around. Having a bandage that did not continually remind me of itself made a significant impact since it increased the likelihood that I would leave it on.For use on a consistent basis, the adhesive performance was reliable. I would not say that they are designed for use in harsh situations; nonetheless, they did a good job of remaining in place when doing routine everyday activities. Despite moving about the home, doing some light cleaning, and working on the computer for many hours, I was only able to tolerate one bandage. It is typical for me to change the bandage if I washed my hands many times or if it became too moist. This is the kind of thing that I anticipate happening with products of this kind. It was satisfactory to me that they kept up well for dry usage and typical mobility.There was also the fact that they were comfortable enough to be worn for extended periods of time. After some time has passed, some bandages begin to seem painfully stiff, cumbersome, or distracting. In some periods of the day, I was able to forget about them since they provided a level of comfort that was very satisfactory. For me, this is significant since I use bandages most often in situations when I still need to continue doing things. What I do not want is anything that makes even the smallest of jobs seem awkward. My ability to continue with activities such as cooking, office work, and running brief errands without the need for continual adjustment was made possible by them.I did not utilize the tiny box all at once but rather started using it gradually over the course of a few weeks. Having that information provided me with a solid understanding of how they function in a variety of settings. If I needed a fast cover that would not get in the way, they were the most helpful for covering tiny surface areas. After handling cardboard boxes, while I was cleaning up outdoors, while I was making meals, and while I was doing laundry. In every instance, they gave me what I required: they remained in situ for a sufficient amount of time to be of use and then removed themselves without causing any significant difficulty.”
